The ALFA 60-30BA is a direct replacement for Hobart 62807-1, a 60qt to 30/40qt mixer bowl adapter/ “knockdown” ring. The ALFA 60-30BA enables a Hobart Classic 60 qt mixer (models H600 & P660) to “adapt down”, or receive a smaller 30qt (ALFA 30VBWLA/Hobart 295648) or 40qt adaptable mixer bowl (ALFA 40VBWLA/ 275686). Adapting is often done for smaller batches, and enables a larger machine to be used more flexibly for production.
